Pros

Zions Bank has great upper level management. Starting with Scott Anderson, the senior vice presidents work hard to make sure that the employees are appreciated and informed on what is going on with the bank. There is also a great sense of community pride and service with Zions Bank. They do care about the clients they have and invest heavily in community needs and events.

Cons

Mid level management is not always on the same page as upper management. A lot of the mid level managers are typical "bankers" -- they have done things the same way for years so there is little room to be innovative or think out of the box. The pay scale as Zions is on the lower end compared to other financial institutions.

Pros

Great support from superiors on reaching goals. High level of satisfaction from building success in a branch setting.

Cons

Health insurance could be better. Benefits are overall okay. PTO is below what I would expect, and includes sick time which makes taking care of yourself difficult when you have to choose between enjoying a vacation day or saving it in case you get sick.
