Pros
Great benefits, supportive managers, good company culture led from the top down. Everyone is aligned in the mission to help veterinarians and animals, and it feels good selling products that actuallymake a difference. Lots of internal movement between teams and departments.
Cons
Immediate managers are mostly great, but it is obvious who the favorites are and if you aren't one of them, there is no opportunity for advancement within the department. You'll see some colleagues skip past every requirement for advancement while others are held back with no explanation. High level of micromanaging about number of calls, lots of opportunity for extra projects or personal development, but no time to actually do it unless you're working in your own time.
