Pros
The benefits are to die for. They match up to 6% of what you put in your 401k plan, from day 1 you have 3 weeks paid vacation. Plus 5 caregiver days, PLUS sick time. The starting pay is about 13.50, but depends on previous experience. A lot of the people are really great, but without a doubt expect you to pull your own weight. If you're looking for a job to go to and work hard and go home, this is it. There is so much room for advancement for anyone that if willing to work for it. I enjoy it for the most part. There is a lot of lab work in certain departments, where you have to gown into labs and lots of cleaning/disinfecting. If you don't like blood avoid TCO and CEO departments as they are big on chicken vaccines. They use eggs on a DAILY basis. After you've been here 10 years you get another week vacation added. But honestly 3 weeks isn't something you could get from anywhere else!
Cons
Negativity. There is very little consistency from one person to the next that it makes it hard for anything to be completed.
