Pros
They pay market salary, have good healthcare benefits, and offer 4 weeks paid leave starting
Cons
This sounds crazy, but I would not recommend this place to anyone simply because there is no cell service anywhere in the plant. This has been going on for only a year, because there were boosters in the plant before, but now, good luck taking a call, getting texts, looking something up, etc. I feel like it's damaging my phone for it to be searching for service all day every day, and it seems to take longer to reconnect to the service provider every time. Because their landline phone systems are outdated (why would you need landlines when everyone uses their cell phone? Whoops now no one can use either), it's impossible to be reached by a loved one in case of an emergency, for a school to call, to do any sort of communication with landlords, repairmen, to get two-step verification for logging in to a computer, etc. They are also making no effort to fix this, because management was told it would be too expensive. It feels barbaric, so unless you're okay with no cell service for 30% of your time, I would not recommend this place of employment. This review isn't even touching the hostile and toxic work culture. They know they have better benefits than most places so they don't care about how they treat employees. We're treated like machines and watched and scrutinized. Every little mistake is used against employees and cause for no raises or promotions. I've never had burnout like this job has given me.
