Pros

Access to affordable healthcare through employee benefits plan

Cons

Where do I even begin? Time to spill the tea! -There was a male manager in Seattle who was sexually harassing multiple female employees from all departments. HR conducted an investigation and the VP at the time asked this person to “apologize” to all the people he had sexually harassed. They eventually fired this person but didn’t ever make a statement about the harassment or acknowledge it in anyway or make any reparations to the victims or offer any support to them. -A provider I worked with was a lactating mother. There was a VP proposing the idea of having women who had lactation breaks move to slower clinics where they would make less of a bonus because their lactation breaks were causing the company financial hardship. -The company refused to change patient intake forms to reflect chosen pronouns saying this wasn’t appropriate for a medical setting. They referred to all patients as “Sarah” despite feedback that this is a female name and not respectful of patients who don’t identify as female. The new CEO finally changed this policy but this is still not a trans friendly company. There is no medical training or support for medical staff regarding trans patient care. Leadership simply says we are not well equipped to take care of the trans community and we are not well equipped to provide training on trans patient care. -The company used to not provide BOLI breaks to employees and it wasn’t until employees complained to BOLI that they stared providing breaks (sort of) -The company has non medical staff directly managing licensed providers. Enough said. These non medical staff write reviews, conduct monthly one on one meetings and have hiring and firing power. -The company has unlicensed non medical staff teaching and supervising phlebotomy training. Enough said. -The company had a clinic which had a basement with mold issues and a staircase that was not up to code. Employees had to go to the basement to get supplies they used regularly. We surfaced this to leadership for years and it wasn’t until our new manager surfaced it to our new safety person that this got fixed (sort of). -An employee I knew made a formal complaint to our director about her manager and the manager came to her clinic the next week asking why she complained about her and proceeded to cry and make the employee very uncomfortable. Retaliation much?! -We had multiple safety issues at clinics including homeless people following us to our cars, sleeping in our parking lot and outside of our clinics. Management did absolutely nothing to improve safety. -This is one of the most corrupt and poorly run companies I’ve ever worked for. Do not work here!

Pros

A lot of flexibility to work around schedules for childcare, appointments, etc. I feel supported and respected by my colleagues as well as my supervisor. I feel I am paid fairly for my experience and job duties.

Cons

Maternity leave could be better! It is also a newer company, so change is always happening which could be a con for some folks.

Pros

I had a great direct supervisor. There's a "we're all in this together" energy. You can tell that some middle managers really care about their teams.

Cons

Upper management. They were sloppy, never seemed to be on the same page about anything. some of the executive managers didn't pay attention to company policies and would space out in their own meetings. Very little accountability and rules were only applied for some coworkers.
