Pros
As a midlevel provider, I feel like I have the ideal practice structure at ZoomCare - I see my own patients, in my own clinic, with a high level of autonomy, including doing procedures and dispensing medications - ZoomCare has an excellent support structure to back me up. Supervising clinicians are always available for immediate consultation. - ZoomCare involves midlevels in special projects and leadership roles, so there is room for growth. I also appreciate the lifestyle balance. Sharing patients with my clinic partner, or even other providers at other clinics, means that when I'm off, I'm off. In the past, compensation left something to be desired, but the company has been responsive to feedback, and now compensation is very competitive. Most of all, I like hearing patients say, "Wow, I've never had care like this! It's so _____ (fast, clean, convenient, easy, transparent billing, etc.)"
Cons
Flexibility required. The company is growing quickly, so things can change quickly - locations, hours, schedules, even benefits and compensation. Most of these changes are improvements or expansions, but still sometimes require some flexibility and an open mind.
