Pros
Ability to choose 4 day or 5 day work week, flexible hours.
Cons
My coworkers feel as though Zoomcare isn’t honest about our policies and our Help Team feels as though we’re penalized for things that aren’t in our control. We get marked down if we need to call out for a medical issue, even with a doctor’s note we get it counted against us unless the manager decides to not mark it against us. There’s blatant favoritism in the workplace, people are promoted who have not been employed here long and the people who are promoted maintain a sense of superiority over the rest of the employees. We get lectured on things that they did when they were in our position, and our complaints aren’t taken seriously. We can’t bring up issues we have with patients because we “are the problem solvers” even though there is a separate team literally called the “Problem Solvers” who are supposed to help with these issues. Patients call and email and treat us horribly, cursing and belittling us yet we still allow them to come to our clinics. Appointments are about getting patients in and out as fast as possible, giving them only 15 minutes to get help with their issue and then we charge them without offering additional assistance like other medical facilities. Our policies are undoable for a large amount of people, they will refuse to see you if you show up more than 5 minutes late to your appointment because of this poor business model of getting patients in and out as quick as possible. HR offers no help, they pull the classic “we hear you and apologize” when you file a complaint and then don’t do anything to actually solve the issue. Management is lacking and we’re left to handle things almost entirely alone. They say they focus on employee retention, yet we have at least 2 people a month quit because the demands of this job are undoable.
