Pros

The environment at ZoomInfo is fast-paced and focused on driving business impact, regardless of role. I've found that the culture really emphasizes how you can help drive the bottom line regardless of department, which keeps everyone laser-focused on business outcomes. Over the past few years, the company has navigated some ups and downs while finding its footing in AI innovation, but within the last year, it's definitely hit its stride. I've been impressed by how the company is merging its data, insights, and signals to create a GTM intelligence platform that supports go-to-market teams across any industry and company size. With a co-founder CEO still at the helm, there's a strong entrepreneurial mentality, all hands on deck, kick down doors, do whatever it takes to succeed. For employees who enjoy a building-and-flying-the-plane environment, this creates real opportunities to make an impact and shape the company's future. Having worked at companies of various sizes, I can say that ZoomInfo at its current size falls in line with what I've seen at other recently public midsize companies. I also believe a significant portion of job satisfaction comes from the people you work with, and I'm very fortunate to have a manager I can learn from whose managing philosophies align with mine, plus an awesome team that reports to me. This makes coming to work every week that much more enjoyable and rewarding.

Cons

I'm not sure these are necessarily cons, but rather reflections of the organization's culture and mentality, which is not always what people are looking for in their job or role. The fast-paced culture at ZoomInfo may not be for everyone. The entrepreneurial "do whatever it takes" mentality, while energizing for some, isn't for someone who just wants to come do their job and go home. That said, ZoomInfo is very transparent about this. As a public midsize company for the past five years, ZoomInfo is still building out its operational systems and procedures in certain areas, which means there's ongoing work to be done in how the organization operates overall. Change can sometimes feel like it's happening constantly.

Thank you for the kind words. This genuinely means a lot to us. We're proud of the caliber of leaders here and the pace at which we're embedding AI into how we work, so it's great to hear that comes through day-to-day. You're right that the macro environment is presenting challenges – we won't pretend otherwise. What we can control is continuing to move faster and smarter than our peers, and feedback like yours is a reminder of why the culture we've built is a competitive advantage in itself. We're glad you're part of it. – Jennifer Creticos, ZoomInfo Chief Business Officer

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management
