Pros

Despite company valuation taking a nosedive and overall lack of company direction, the core data offering is still sound.

Cons

Increasing workloads for increasingly less pay due to targets ballooning to unrealistic levels, coupled with a commission structure and compensation that was always well below industry standards, have made ZoomInfo untenable for any self-respecting sales rep.

ZoomInfo Response

While we always appreciate candid perspectives, we respectfully disagree with this characterization of our sales organization. The reality is that we have proactively lowered quotas across nearly every segment — and this follows a round of reductions the year prior as well. We also took deliberate steps to simplify our compensation and commission structure to make it more transparent and easier to understand. Beyond that, even underperforming AEs finish at or above their OTE, which is genuinely rare in any sales organization and speaks to how seriously we take the financial wellbeing of our team. Our directors and VPs are in front of customers and on calls with their teams for the vast majority of their day. That hands-on culture is something we take pride in and actively reinforce. We hold ourselves to a high standard, and we are always open to honest dialogue. If you'd like to share more specific feedback, I'd encourage you to connect with your HR Business Partner or reach out directly. – Steven Bryerton, ZoomInfo SVP of New Business Sales

Pros

Great place to work with a lot of forward thinking leaders to learn from. Really ahead of other companies on implementing AI in the business. Moves much faster with less bureaucracy than other similarly sized companies

Cons

Difficult macro environment for the company and industry

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.
