Pros

-An industry leading company that is constantly growing and getting better. I've seen DiscoverOrg grow from a dozen employees to several different offices in a business park to now having 2 floors in downtown Vancouver's biggest office building. -The culture is infectious - it's for those that are constantly striving to get better, never happy with the status quo, and want to improve professionally and improve how our clients sell and market day in and day out. If you enjoy celebrating an accomplishment, and then quickly figuring out how to improve and beat that last accomplishment next month/quarter/year this is the place for you. -Management is always open to new ideas and everyone's voice is heard -- it's an open door policy. The employees are passionate about making sure we have the best processes and put forth the best data & product in the market and as a result if you have a good idea it's likely to get implemented quickly. -Great new office space with nice break room, located in the heart of downtown with plenty of places to grab a good lunch or a drink with your colleagues after work -A lot of interdepartment collaboration - research works closely with sales, sales & marketing are closely knit, customer success & product development are constantly working together to improve the product - this makes everyone working together for one common goal which you often don't get in other companies. -Fun company outings and get-togethers -Lots of growth and new opportunities for new and existing employees. The leadership has proven they like to promote within to those that work hard and are consistent producers

Cons

-The employees work hard to be the best, so putting in long hours isn't uncommon. No one is really "punching a clock" but it's noticed if you're leaving early so there can be added pressure to work longer hours.

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.

Pros

Great management in the CS org. Very little micromanagement, and lets you do your job as you see fit. Promotes work life balance and tend to be real people. Collaborative teams, usually willing to help each other out wherever needed. Good room for growth if you are performing well and are vocal about wanting to move up.

Cons

Salary could be higher for the market, and for how many products you are expected to work with and specialize in. Communication from marketing and leadership directly to clients could be more effectively communicated to the client facing roles prior to reaching the client.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the CS organization and for all you've done for ZoomInfo. I'm proud of the culture of collaboration and support that we've worked hard to build, so it's wonderful to hear that it's paying off for you. I believe that people do their best work when they're empowered; and that means autonomy, flexibility and freedom to get creative. That's how we innovate. I appreciate your candid feedback on cross-functional communication and product complexity. Platform simplification is an important near term goal for the whole company, and we're investing to move in the right direction. Thank you again for your feedback. It's helping us continue improving how we support our teams and equip client-facing employees for success. – Whitney Littman, ZoomInfo VP of Customer Success
