Pros
I wasn’t sure how I was going to like ZoomInfo since it’s a massive, public company and the reviews are pretty mixed. After almost a year, I can say that I am so happy I took the offer. If you are a high performer, expect to make 20-30% more than OTE. From Spiff’s, to contests, to all sorts of other ways, ZoomInfo is constantly pushing to motivate their reps. Work life balance is pretty solid. At other tech companies you’d probably work less, but ZoomInfo is a public company and EOQ and EOY is taken very seriously. The onboarding is stellar, and the support upper mgmt and leadership gives is the best I’ve experienced. Lots of upward mobility, or into other departments if you’re ready for a change. I am so happy I took this role!
Cons
The usual that comes with working for a public org. EOQ / EOY taken very seriously with working on closing deals even if it’s a holiday or weekend. This is to be expected for a public organization, but it is definitely a drawback. Things change a lot. If you are someone who doesn’t like change and isn’t open to it, you’d probably not be a fan of the company culture.
