Pros
* Compared to other tech giants, culture at ZoomInfo does not revolve around drinking Kool-Aid. I felt treated like a mature adult here, not a naïve college student * Definitely populated with local talent and friendly people * Gym in the Waltham office is excellent * Stress from managements and team was minimal - I found myself generally happy and not under undue stress working here.
Cons
* Not a lot of soul * Very top-down structure, ideas do not seem to percolate up from below, less democratic than other tech companies. * The ERGs feel like pure astroturf - culture can't just be a slack room guys. * A part of me actually like's the CEO Henry's vibe, but I can see why it rubs some people the wrong way. * RSUs were all batched into a single year instead of over time, which for tax reasons was very disadvantageous because it forced reporting all RSUs as income in a single year which resulted in higher tax burden. Stop that.
