      Pros

      Generally cool coworkers, exciting product, great food and benefits.

      Cons

      Nonexistent work-life balance. Messy internal politics. Genuinely poor planning that starts from the top and trickles down. Suffers from "definition of insanity", i.e. doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Almost fully transitioned away from start-up culture to a corporate, Amazon-like environment. If you thrive in chaos, Zoox is the right place for you.

      Pros

      Best things in sequence - Food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), Very nice office environment, not high-pressure performance stress. I am very optimistic about their future.

      Cons

      Pay is on the lower side; most engineers are imported from Michigan - but still they say we are in Bay Area for the Talent lol. They don't always hire the best of the bunch - Interview is easy overall. Hiring friends/friends of friends might be a thing, who knows. Employee retention is an issue.
