Pros

Good technology and product - when it is working Some very smart people, especially in engineering Most non-management staff are good to work with

Cons

Poor management at all levels Overcommitment by management means poor and late product delivery Product quality is poor Customers lied to about cause of outages, product features, delivery time No HR people, no CFO, no internal IT staff Everything is done on the cheap

The pay and ESOP is good

Cons

Toxic management structure. Unnecessary archaic practices. Employee feedback is not at all considered by the upper management. If you get a bad manager, there is nothing more you can do.
