Pros
Used to be a wonderful culture in the Talent Acquisition team with good synergy with the People Team. Company products are exceptional.
Cons
Everything changed mid 2022. The culture took a serious downturn that spread when they let go of several senior recruiters in Dec 22 and who had been there for years and had built the company up. These new leaders spoke out of both sides of their mouth talking about an open, collaborative environment. Only once did the new TA leadership address the US TA team on a zoom call before heading off to EMEA on a trip in their first month. They decided in Dec 22 to get rid of many senior recruiters by initially castigating their work performances. It was clear as day they were trying to manage out these recruiters. They then hired a diversity recruiter with zero recruiting experience! Insult to injury was how they tried to hush the unofficial layoff of recruiters with a paltry severance package and no support from management in supporting those that they laid off, not even a word of it on LinkedIn to help them find new employers. They simply wanted to wash their hands off them. Shame that Zscaler is becoming like a lot of Silicon valley companies wanting to hire ex Googlers and destroy a once healthy company culture.
