We’ve been in what feels like a hiring freeze since late 2022 w/ exception of key roles. Hiring has slowed down drastically across all teams. Yet P&C keeps hiring? How does it make sense to hire additional recruiters when we just laid off 177+ people in March? This was after the layoffs in November 2022. What roles are they hiring for? Seems like a joke at this point. Too many siloed teams within P&C that didn’t need to be built out just yet. Focus on growing teams that make an impact to the products, sales, growth etc first.
