Pros

There are tons of great reasons to work at Zudy. The healthcare is good, the perks are numerous (travel, fancy dinners, 15k$ espresso machine, private gym in office, etc), and the company culture is one that encourages camaraderie and fun. There is certainly more to look forward to, but the biggest reason you would want to work here at Zudy is that you want to be more than just a small cog in a clunky machine. We develop intricate, enterprise level applications so quickly that it boggles the senses. Even the most inexperienced of developers can expect to be integral parts of important projects within their first few months, and potentially be the heads of these projects within the first year or two. All of this is due to the power of the Vinyl platform that only we use (because we created it). It lets one dev do the work of multiple teams, in a fraction of the time, and with ZERO code. To put it bluntly, being able to wield such raw development power is insanely fun and cool.

Cons

If you want to work in the HQ (as opposed to traveling or working from home), you need to move to Cape Cod, which can be boring for some (although I enjoy it here). Additionally, the work culture is a good one as i mentioned above, but you need to be prepared to work longer hours if there is an important deadline on the horizon. Working with Vinyl is amazing because there is no code, but this can be a bit of a stumbling block for some people who have extensive experience in application development. It is tougher to relearn application development in Vinyl than it is to learn Vinyl without any prior experience.

Pros

flexibility, compensation, training and education, talent

Cons

poor leadership ran off the good leaders and talent. left a very toxic environment that included publicly belittling people (many people, frequently). It was very awkward and uncomfortable.
