Pros
Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology is a Long Island institution and has been in business for over 65 years. There are so many great reasons to work here, but any positive attributes about the company (401k match, great coworkers, advancement and growth) are wholly outweighed by the negatives.
Cons
There is rampant nepotism that affects all aspects of the business. Do-nothing employees, likely someone that is related to or good friends with a higher-up, are not fired or disciplined for their blatant disregard for simply doing their job. Many, not all, managers nitpick at the smallest imperfection or mistake and write-up employees for doing so. It is no surprise that entry-level employees run for the hills when they hear how bad it is by their fellow coworkers. You can see how stressed and overworked all employees are because management expects them to do so much with so little. Raises are inconsistent and at times given to employees that do not deserve it; management claims that it is for passing a registry exam, but two employees that graduated school at the same time, have the same training and job titles, have two different rates of pay.
