Pros
The best parts of working at alliant are the people, the clients, and the challenging nature of the work. I have the opportunity to work with clients all across the country who are engaged in scientific and engineering innovation. It's incredibly interesting. At alliant, there is a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. This environment cultivates a great culture for anyone seeking professional growth and development. There is also a constant push to innovate and improve methods, internally, to expand the business and serve clients, which creates great career opportunities. In sum, if you are willing to put in the effort, you will have the support and opportunity to build a great career.
Cons
There are a lot of concerns on here about work life balance and long hours. If you want to succeed at alliant, or anywhere for that matter, you are going to have to work hard and put in some hours. There are times where long hours are needed, that's a given. But, the work is engaging, the people are great, and the environment is focused on encouragement and promotion.
