Alliantgroup is not a place for genuine legal practice. Attorneys are brought in under the guise of practicing law, but the role is essentially that of a consultant. You will not develop substantive legal skills here, and extended time at this firm can hinder your long-term career prospects as an attorney. The culture is toxic and built around recruiting young, out-of-state professionals who can be more easily controlled. Staff is pressured to work late hours, often without meaningful work, and quality control staff are pushed to “be creative” in ways that harm small businesses by misrepresenting eligibility for tax credits. They will punish you for wanting to have a life outside of there. No job security. People rarely survive this job for over 18 months. Supervision is poor; I did not encounter a single supervisor I respected. Loyalty is not rewarded—teams are shuffled without notice, and management acts in a grim and transactional manner. The work environment is micromanaged to an extreme: constant monitoring, mandatory mock presentations, and a fishbowl-style office layout that strips away any sense of professionalism or trust. They advertise quarterly bonuses, but intentionally make the metrics unattainable. In short, this is not a law firm experience nor is it a credible company—it is a high-pressure sales and consulting job disguised as legal work. Any attorney seeking to grow in the profession should steer clear.
