Some Corporate brain decided we would all do each others jobs. Now the phone rings non stop with as many a 10 different jobs. They followed that up by deciding we would all take a 30% pay cut to our commission plan. Good job corporate. On the surface it looks like you just figured out a way to make the bottom line look much better this year. What's really happening is were all doing mediocre work, while feeling completely overwhelmed. Its taking away from our ability to manage our current book of business, and convert our current leads. Your best, most knowledgeable employee's are all putting it together that its time for a new job. It takes years to get good at this job, and really start to generate revenue. When you get good at this job, it feels like you're sprinting through out the day to maintain your current clients and convert your new clients. Adding all of these new jobs has caused us all to feel like were drowning. Adding a huge pay decrease at the same time is insane. Expect to see lower conversion at the core brand level, lower satisfied/repeat customers, higher employee turn over, and finally your book of business is going to take a huge hit that will not recover for years.
