Dental and eye insurance is not very good. I worked there thinking my job was secure. Company was talking about awards and money made. I loved what I did. I was called with no warning (my supervisor was not even told till too late) that I was laid off effective immediately. I was told it was not performance based, which of course it could not be since I had no attendance issues or write ups. I was basically picked for no reason? They could never give a good answer when I asked. I was let go over 2 others that did not even know how to do some of the things I did. Mine was not the last of the lay offs. Every week they have been. Not a good direction for the company. Severance is a absolute joke! Most companies offer 1 to 2 weeks from every year worked. I was given equivalent to 4 weeks for 14 years of employment! When I asked if I could move departments, I was told no since there was no openings. Right before that though I was told I could reapply....for what if there is no openings?! Reapply to lose what I had built up and for a place that just laid me off for no reason. No thanks! Funny they have as a response to someone on one of the reviews: "retaining happy team members who want to work with us for many years to come is top priority" Haha Guess not.
