Pros

The building is nice. And there's an onsite health clinic with a nurse practicioner making it hard to ever call in sick. The employee amenities are great if you can make time to take advantage of the massage parlor, nail salon and gym.

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant. The business has long since outgrown the leadership strength of the husband and wife co-founders. The PTO plan allows for 21 days of sick, vacation AND holiday leave, and the company has 15 mandatory holidays throughout the year, leaving six days to either be sick or spend time with your family. This is not clearly explained prior to accepting a job offer. Employees are expected to be on call 24 hours a day, and comp time is nonexistent. The "Best Places to Work" awards are essentially a marketing ploy to attract prospective employees. Don't believe the hype.
