Pros
The people I work with are vibrant, talented, and engaged. This company not only provides amazing on-site benefits, such as massages, a nail salon (as well as eyelash extensions), a free gym, a cafe (that actually has great food), and a concierge desk with discounted tickets to various attractions and movie theaters, but they also provide discounted travel perks to employees when one is taking time away from the office. The company's owners (a married couple), who both still work there, not only find ways of providing the employees with great benefits, but they seem to seek out additional causes that they can contribute to, hosting charity events and opportunities for employees to contribute time (or money) to important causes. Furthermore, I've actually seen multiple cases where they have matched donations dollar for dollar. Another thing I like about ICE is that there is opportunity to move and grow within the company. I have been working there many years, and I know that there are actually hundreds of people within the company that have been there for several years as well - many over 10 years. I have to believe that, like me, people choose to be here because of the benefits and opportunities provided by the company. My position has changed multiple times throughout my time there, and for the better- ICE was founded on the idea that they are an innovative force in the industry, and nearly 20 years later, they still run things the way they see fit - they don't do things just because it's "always been done that way." They look for ways to grow and be the best. They also see that in their employees - they recognize strengths and skills and provide opportunities to move within the company based on that. They support and encourage growth and success. As far as culture, I love the people I work with. There are so many great people at this company. Company-wide, ICE strives to provide multiple ways to receive feedback from employees. They give out annual employee feedback surveys and (it seems) they try to adjust some things accordingly. They also seek to receive feedback after certain corporate events so that they can improve for the next time. They host luncheons for anniversaries (of employment) and also have quarterly luncheons where management recognizes employee accomplishments. They have monitors throughout the office constantly recognizing employee achievements and they host an annual awards ceremony. This company promotes and encourages hard work, but it also tries to find various ways of recognizing and rewarding it.
Cons
No company is without flaws or hiccups. ICE isn't perfect, but I'm not sure there's a single company that is. ICE moved several years ago to an amazing building in Scottsdale that better fit the 1000+ people working there (near three major shopping/dining complexes). However, the parking situation is not ideal. While there is a huge parking lot, it still can't hold everyone, and some employees must park in the "overflow" parking lot in the morning, which is a bit further away from the building. Aside from buying the building next door and bulldozing it over or moving offices completely, I'm not really sure there is anything ICE can do about it though.
