Pros
Good intentions by some of the leadership. Interesting industry. Strong product, financial strength of the global business allow for some autonomy
Cons
Deep and entrenched lack of investment in building an engaged workforce. The leadership is unwilling to change existing toxic policies until it is forced to -- mission statements regarding caring for wellbeing are disingenuous and HR relative to other US companies is entirely uninterested in competing with industry peers. No investment in learning and development and helping managers grow; only what serves immediate needs of the company. Heavy priority given to favorites and arbitrary advancement based on whims of the few. Poorly organized and not at all transparent. Not a competitive employer when it comes to keeping staff and investing in them. No commitment to diversity and inclusion whatsoever, minorities feel marginalized
