Pros

BP is a fairly well run company. BP is trying to change and join the clean energy revolution, which is good. They are very committed to diversity, which is appreciated by employees.

Cons

In its attempts to improve safety (obviously a worthy goal), it is rather bureaucratic. This can lead to employees feeling stifled and unable to use their full potential. Unfortunately, they aren't doing much to train oil and gas employees in new sectors of wind and solar. They say they are very committed to mental health and work life balance, but as far as I can tell, this is mostly lip service.

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
