Pros

Great Location - Energy Corridor; onsite services (daycare, medical clinic, pharmacy) Competitive Salary and Annual Bonuses, for Staff Level Role - 10% bonus, experienced level - 15%; supervisor/managerial/ sr. level role - 25%

Cons

The finance department in the Gulf Of Mexico reorganized 3 times within 2yrs. with no clear guidance on where things were headed. no clear expectations. Some groups in the Central Ops Finance teams are over worked, over loaded and under resources vs. other Finance teams that support a specific asset are over staffed and under worked, just twiddling their thumbs. In GoM Finance, there is little to no opportunity to move around or move up. No real opportunity to be innovative. Deadlines for reporting all driven by Segment finance teams, That don't understand the impacts to the worker bees with their demands. Which often leads to time wasted, non value added work. Challengers "finance graduates" are often placed in experienced level roles with little to no guidance. which creates further work for others

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
