Pros

The biggest highlight is everyone is respectful to each another and embraces diversity. BP is a company that stands by its values and belief (Safety, Respect, Excellence, Courage and One Team), making sure every employee is well-informed and practises them. In addition, BP is puts strong emphasis on innovation. A lot of learning opportunities to get hold of the state-of-the-art technology for engineering role. Working as an intern in BP is rewarding, you are allowed to take part in various activities be it technical or social within the company.

Cons

The application process is rigorous and sometimes a bit overwhelming. However, this is pretty standard for any oil and gas companies. Make sure you read about the company values and show your genuine side. And you will do fine!

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
