Would be great if paid better - ASM- Assistant Store Manager bp Employee Review

Labour hours are sparse. On call 24/7 and work related apps give constant notifications and can't be turned off due to being on call. Unreasonable expectations (expected to do two people's jobs without extra hours or pay). 5 different apps to use for HR and daily work instead of a streamlined service. Business manager, head office, and specialised teams will all tell you to do the same thing in different ways and will mark down audits for doing it the way one of your other bosses told you to. Stores forced to restrict maintenance budgets to minimum and not given any support for dealing with upset customs or additional labour needed. Space planning and planogram teams have no idea about the actual size and scale of stores/shelves and have 0 regards for practical use or safety. Category team sending huge push allocations to stores who have received and wasted full deliveries of said products, stores not receiving exception for this in their waste targets.
