      Pros

      Well paid when you get to go offshore/international placements - but you have to be very lucky nowadays. Every other Friday off.

      Cons

      Being based in Aberdeen without any choice. Tough financial climate with few projects on the horizon. Lots of paperwork. Very few social activities (1/2 a year).
