Pros
Work from home Made Good money my first year as an AE Gave me experience which allowed me to get a better job - If you have limited job experience this could be a good stepping stone for you
Cons
I feel compelled to make do this review because one of my former coworkers just texted me that they once again have changed the comp plan. You start as a BDR, pay is horrible and the job sucks so much. That sweet promise of AE is dangled in front of you to keep you going. The company is finding ways to pay us less. They lowered css( the step before AE) pay from 50k base to $15 an hour like the BDRs with no warning this year, Just oop we are decreasing your pay by 40%, with inflation being what it is that is crazy and wrong. They have changed the AE comp plan to make us make less, we have had 3 changes to our comp plan in this year alone all designed to lower our pay in a subtle way they could spin as a positive, aside from the most recent one which just blatantly lowered the pay . I left because once I started making less $$ I realized how much this job sucks. It is like a life insurance assembly line. My new job is so much better the contrast is crazy. I no longer dread starting my day. Unless you have no other choice avoid this job, the payout of AE is no longer worth the long struggle of BDR.
