Pros
- You're given a large amount of PTO and I've never received any backlash for using it. - Nice incentives: Free breakfast, drinks, random eMoney memorabilia, tickets to different events, in-office game room. - Relaxed dress code and atmosphere. - You're given a laptop on the first day and many departments allow the opportunity to work from home with it if/when needed. - You're also given two computer monitors, which was really hard to come by at my last job, so it's appreciated! - The CEO is pretty present. You will see him walking around, socializing, calling impromptu meetings for updates, etc.
Cons
- Lack of interdepartmental communication is my biggest frustration. There is a huge disconnect between who knows what, and is then responsible for it. - Also lacking an official training program for new-hire employees so the first 2-3 months are spent trying to figure it out on your own. - Bosses/supervisors who don't know how to actually do the job they're responsible for making sure you do. My team feels like we lack the real support that would benefit growth, vision, and performance. - Rumors about the future of the company spread like wildfire and can leave you on edge. - Advancing within the company seems to happen prematurely, or not fast enough - Haven't found the happy medium. - Lack of diversity at the upper management/executive level. Literally all older white men.
