Pros

eXp Realty is a real estate company -- filled with almost 90,000 agents. My role is in marketing and things can move FAST. No two days are the same and if you are deemed competent, you are left alone to do your job and be creative. I get to interact with agents as well as the highest levels of the company. It's nice to access someone -- anyone -- directly through the company's Workplace Chat platform. While there is an hierarchy of roles and leadership, the leaders are accessible and don't pull rank or make you feel like you are not worthy of a response. Everyone is genuinely helpful and professional. And the programs we are working on are generally smart and innovative. This company is always on the cutting-edge.

Cons

Communication down the line can be better. For example, there might be a "Big Shiny Object" to chase and everyone is onboard to chase it. Then all of a sudden, that shiny object is no longer in play, but a different shiny object is. Sometimes it doesn't get communicated widely what is happening.

Pros

Training program is phenomenal, stock options, and access to marketing materials and branding.

Cons

You’re kind of out on the island for the most part and it’s up to you to be proactive to attend trainings and advance yourself. That’s true for most real estate companies, but no one one’s ever gonna check in on you.

Pros

They used to have the best cloud-based model and ample online training with eXp World.

Cons

Very disappointed by their inadequate mentorship program. The lack of structured guidance and hands-on support made it incredibly difficult to get my real estate business off the ground during those critical first few months as a brand new agent.
