Pros

I loved working with individuals with disabilities. I loved the mission I thought we followed the years I was there. I loved collaborating. I loved the desire to improve instruction. I absolutely loved my jobs, yes jobs, with the then LFS.

Cons

I became a person/employee very disabled and I tried working for the organization again. It was presented to me that accommodations given informally were no longer possible once I asked formally. I had worked many hours over 40 in both of my leadership roles, before and after the onset of my disability, in my years before AND AFTER my disability occurred. I was then a person with several disbilities. I was dismissed in 2019 because I let my teaching license expire, suddenly, which I inadvertently did, because of the tremendous stress from my debilitating disability and the response of LFS when I was employedm. My renewal was due in July of 2019 for my license which had been active since 1995, at the time. My license came up for renewal when I was in the middle of them "counseling" me out in July. I was put on administrative leave in August, but while they were working me out of LFS. It was intimated something else was going on with me but it was weeks and weeks later when they were working me out if my job and the organization before employee assistance was offered. NOT good practice! I worked many hours over 40 a week in both leadership roles with LGS, then, now encircle. I was loyal and devoted. LFS/encircle, cares for those with disabilities until their own become disabled.
