Pros
Good money by local standards, barely national average. Some good people among operators and a couple of decent supervisors.
Cons
Dismal factory with extremely unpleasant working conditions. Coca-Cola sent an American lawyer to bully the union into accepting a contract that will make us worse off after 4 years. Plant management persists in ignoring and undermining the contract. Communication is non-existent, even supervisors are kept in the dark. Increasingly harsh measures and discipline are being imposed while promised improvements don't happen. There is zero consultation with employees. Suggestions for improved productivity are always denied and changes to maintenance and production schedule happen without notice. It could be a much better place to work without putting a dent in Coca-Cola's US$23 billion annual profit, but plant management is determined to make us miserable.
