Pros
Simply said, ghSMART is the BEST of the best! It's a top-notch firm that provides its clients with exceptional service and results. But perhaps even more remarkable, the firm mirrors this exceptional service with their internal clients, aka employees. With a first class team and supportive leadership team, it's truly a pleasure to "go" to work each day. The top pro for me is to be working for a company where everyone is aligned on the same goals and priorities. We truly work together, not against each other, and it pays off in some many lucrative ways: financial stability and growth, extremely low turnover, and off-the-charts client satisfaction. Another pro is the ability to work from your home wherever that may be. You are spared from the daily stress, cost, and time of a commute. And if you're ever in the position where you need or want to move, you don't have that worry of having to find another job. ghSMART moves with you!
Cons
Although the home office environment eliminates the distractions that a busy corporate office can create, it also takes some of the "social" out of your work day. If you're someone who thrives off of that social piece, you'll need to be committed to meeting this need through other channels in our life, ie, outings with friends, church or charity events, networking in your community, etc. I will say ghSMART has found some creative ways to incorporate "social" into our virtual world, but you can expect it to be always be less than that of a non-virtual company.
