Pros

- Good professional development - Slightly above median benefits when actually delivered - Good resume filler - Flexible work environment

Cons

The higher levels of leadership outwardly fails the company on all levels. To list a few: - Overdue, practically withheld compensation for summer camp tips (Takes over 6 months to process) - Shady business practices with employees regarding bonuses. There have been multiple instances of the company firing employees right before they are set to receive a bonus. Not a small bonus either, I'm talking thousands of dollars. They purposely do not write down their “competitive benefits” in contract to legally skate out of previously agreed to benefits on technicalities. - Belligerent upper management, consistently rude to full time staff, and instructors alike. They can be very aggressive, and brazen with how they treat employees all around. - Multiple accusations of discriminatory behavior for multiple reasons. - There is no positive company culture. There is always negativity swirling in the air amongst the full time staff, and consistent turmoil that creates a hostile work environment for many. - Pay is below the industry average for employees all across the board. Full time, and contractors alike. Contractor pay is at times 1/4th of the pay that competitors offer, and around 1/2 - 2/3 of the industry standard I have never had such a negative experience in the workforce in my life. This company does not have any sort of positive work culture. This company does not serve the community. This company does not have upper management that is passionate about STEAM Education. This company is built on margin-obsessed upper management individuals, that seem to only care about money. The company as a whole is dysfunctional, and I am sad to see a company in the Education world that does not value giving back in any way shape or form. To students, to the community, or it’s very own employees and contractors.
