Pros

The people who work at iCIMS are all extremely pleasant. My on-boarding experience was fantastic and the platform is very intriguing. Mentorship is top-notch across all departments.

Cons

Once the on-boarding process concludes and you begin your role in the company, the true nature of iCIMS begins to unravel. Unless you work in marketing or sales, there is extremely limited room for growth. The technical support department rarely (if ever) gets recognized for their hard work; a majority of the praise gets awarded to sales and marketing (if you don't believe me, check out the iCIMS Instagram page- not a single picture praising the tech support department.. just marketing and sales!). During my several years with the company, I have never seen Colin (CEO) in the technical support building, yet he preaches during on-boarding how "involved" he is with employee satisfaction. Finally, there is a lot of tension between the developers and technical support. This forced me to be dishonest with several clients, which is ultimately why I left this company.

We’re sorry to hear that you left us and ultimately did not enjoy your time here. However, we feel the need to reiterate the value that we place on our entire Customer Service Department, including Technical Support. The second part of our mission statement is to provide a customer experience that’s second-to-none, and we strive to maintain the positive feedback and ratings that we receive regarding our customer service by making it a priority.

Pros

My team was very committed to our customers and very collaborative with each other. Everyone was kind to each other, and historically there had been opportunities for mentorship and career development.

Cons

Unclear expectations from leadership. We always felt like we were trying to play catch up with how things were changing. We also always felt like we were underpaid.
