Pros
The company is very open to helping good people find a good fit, even if their "on paper" experience is not an exact match to open req. Each incoming batch of new hires seems well balanced demographically, with no apparent bias to older professionals. Management is very supportive during early days and new hires are really made to feel personally welcome.
Cons
As noted previously, pretty stringent constraints on PTO, especially for professional hires used to more flexibility (though short Summer Fridays help!). Most notable is requirement for religious holidays (days of obligation vs celebration) bundled in with vacation and sick days. You can easily end up with negative balance in first year. Open, social workspace full of helpful colleagues can take some time getting used to. It's not a "hot desk" environment, but its distracting enough for many to use headphones full time.
