Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy - Customer Success Manager iCIMS Employee Review

Pros

I’m so sad to leave this kind of review but definitely want those who are considering joining ICIMS to know some of the realities. The only thing that was a positive was the great people that worked there and all have since been let go or have left

Cons

Leadership doesn’t give any indication that they care about their employees or retention. Appropriate and thorough training is not provided across the org setting new employees up for failure. Constant changing of messaging and product capabilities leaves customer confused and frustrated. Constant questions, killing yourself reaching out to resources to get an answer, but never ever being able to get a straight answer. Feedback on the customer service side is ignored until employees get tired of not getting answers and just submit and move on. Prepare to apologize to your customer until you are blue in the face all while knowing that nothing will change. Pay is low and it feels like leadership takes every step to keep it there. A new commission plan was rolled out and it was so complex- get ready to do some serious calculations to even understand what you MIGHT be making for that quarter- then ask your manager to check it and confirm your conclusions and they will do the math as well and then still be unsure if it’s correct- felt rigged. Saddened to see this company fall so far because I really felt like it had the groundwork needed to make a difference in the industry. I hope that it gets better for all of those employees who decided to stick it out. Worried about the post sales experience for customers that are still using ICIMS.

Pros

My team was very committed to our customers and very collaborative with each other. Everyone was kind to each other, and historically there had been opportunities for mentorship and career development.

Cons

Unclear expectations from leadership. We always felt like we were trying to play catch up with how things were changing. We also always felt like we were underpaid.
