Pros

If you're someone who likes to meet new people and work events all over San Diego, this is the place to work. You can end up working events far and wide around San Diego, varying from huge events like the Del Mar Fair, concerts and Padres games, to the small scale events like a taco Tuesday or bar promotion. The promo team is a bunch of young folk who can be very lively and fun to be around. Sometimes you can get free tickets to the large events, and get free food depending on what event you're working and how cool other vendors or the people who need the promotion are.

Cons

- With young people also comes young mindsets. Some of the people you end up working with are incredibly immature to a degree you wouldn't imagine. Even a handful of people who are older and *should* be wiser are in higher positions act juvenile, if not more than the younger folk. The leadership there is subpar and it is absolutely crucial to learn how to put trust in the team. There is an issue with superiority complexes in this environment, i.e. speaking condescendingly, not trusting the team and overall failing to give the respect that each and every person on the team deserves. - Mobility in this company is scarce. There are so many people who want to be on-air and only so few spots available. This place is somewhere you can get your foot in the door and get exposure, but expect to be there a few years before you even get close to getting an opportunity outside of promotions. - Scheduling is whack, they are times in which they will tell you that work starts at 12pm and ends at 8pm, but force a 3 hour break upon you. This is a part time job as it is, but they do not compensate you enough for that kind of crap.

Pros

The team is very straightforward and helpful and they are willing to give you whatever tools necesary to win. One of the best teams I have ever worked with to be honestly.

Cons

Not many but you need to be flexible with hours as this is production work but that is industry standard.

Pros

The company had really good happy hours and events to attend. Food almost everyday.

Cons

Awful management team. Everyone will plot against you if they see potential. Very political culture and one boss there is a weak male figure in the office. If he doesn’t like you all the other managers follow suit. Mind you he has no power at all yet managers at his same level report to him. Must be experienced to work there really come in with a book of business with accounts that have lots of money because that’s all they care about. They will use and abuse you then cast you to the side make sure you have a second job to lean on. Frequent layoffs no managers of color either. Lots of red flags in the begging do not ignore them.
