Pros

Big-name on your resume Get to work in the music/entertainment industry Nice people depending on what team you're on

Cons

No growth path whatsoever If you are not a white male, you are already at a disadvantage Old tech infrastructure which doesn't actually allow for high quality, innovative product They care about making money at the expense of customer satisfaction and will do whatever they can for users to click on ads which at times feels like monetization is all they care about They laid-off a bunch of people in March with 0 warning and no care what so ever, many of those people were long time employees who didn't deserve to be thrown under the bus due to their dedication and hard work, instead of fighting for these people, they said see ya on a random morning of the week, and since then either people are ready to leave or they have already left aka. The HUGE turnover that hasn't stopped since It's a top-down "old school" culture Not all middle managers are good ones, nor do they have experience or seem interested in actually investing in their direct reports They never address social issues happening in the world unless super pressed, and even then, it's not genuine Getting promoted is almost impossible, no matter how hard you work because compensation and performance are not connected. see point 1. (no growth) Execs are mostly all talk, no real walk, don't hold themselves accountable to anything, and decision making is quite questionable at times Only Execs get their hands on stock options Despite the style being agile, things take a long time to ship The pay is significantly lower than market value There is no 401k match since COVID and in general a terrible benefits packagep

Pros

The team is very straightforward and helpful and they are willing to give you whatever tools necesary to win. One of the best teams I have ever worked with to be honestly.

Cons

Not many but you need to be flexible with hours as this is production work but that is industry standard.

Pros

The company had really good happy hours and events to attend. Food almost everyday.

Cons

Awful management team. Everyone will plot against you if they see potential. Very political culture and one boss there is a weak male figure in the office. If he doesn’t like you all the other managers follow suit. Mind you he has no power at all yet managers at his same level report to him. Must be experienced to work there really come in with a book of business with accounts that have lots of money because that’s all they care about. They will use and abuse you then cast you to the side make sure you have a second job to lean on. Frequent layoffs no managers of color either. Lots of red flags in the begging do not ignore them.
