Pros
It will lead you to a better opportunity somewhere else because you won't find it at iHeart.
Cons
You won't get paid. They will lie and string you along and say your promotion is in the works. Until you put in your resignation then all of a sudden your promotion goes through . They will pacify you w/ Amazon gift cards anytime you bring up the promotion or give you some award in place. Senior level employees of the company do not have any idea how on to interact with anyone that isn't White and not be offensive. I've had my accent mocked by an executive in front of a colleagues and my hair touched ( I should say examined by management) while at work. Colleagues who received the same awards and recognition as me (and started after me) got promoted. They were White and one of the favorites. When I brought it up...I was told they know how it looks...but they are working on it. NO COMPASSION, limited flexibility. Imagine sharing a personal issue w/ a boss, request to work from home, then get told... "oh well figure it out" and demand you travel an hour to attend a 10 minute meeting. Please note, our jobs were fully capable of being performed virtually including meetings. No career direction. There is no plan. It's all a lie. You will have to leave to get to where you need to be Senior manager will berate (straight up yell) at you in front of colleagues. And will do it within earshot of HR and nothing will be done. There are way more cons than pros, especially if you are any person of color. It's not worth the depression, lies, defeat and down right disrespect you will endure at iHeart. Look at all these reviews and take note of the trends across this company...you will thrive elsewhere.
