Pros
The pay was decent, and the work environment was excellent. The marketing, design, and operations teams were especially great to work with, making collaboration enjoyable. The company provided weekly snacks, and every quarter, they covered the cost of a team outing—usually a dinner—to strengthen team bonds. They were consistently innovating and introducing new technology to the market. HR was also fantastic, with Paul regularly checking in on employees and chatting about football. As for the negative reviews, they were likely from former employees who had personal grievances.
Cons
One of the biggest downsides was that the marketing team was let go so the company could outsource the job to China. Another major issue was the lack of communication—sales, marketing, and operations were often not aligned, leading to unnecessary challenges. Upper management also seemed disconnected from our actual responsibilities and contributions, which only added to the frustration. After putting in significant effort to improve their struggling online presence, it was incredibly disappointing to be let go.
