Pros

Benefits are pretty decent. 401k match with roth options. Affordable insurance options. Patch techs can get bonuses for productivity once APT and QA. Those bonuses don't continue if you get promoted though, so some supporting staff make more than their higher ups due to bonuses.

Cons

Schedule is not flexible, sometimes hard to get PTO. Work almost all holidays including christmas eve and new years eve. Will make you work mandatory OT and weekends in December to hit EOY goals. Cut back on raises and stock bonuses for annual reviews. Cut back on other perks and benefits that make going to the office not worth the time. No longer free lunches for staff so nobody goes in except for managers. Outsourcing monitor tech jobs to india and not hiring in the US currently. Eventually that could be a threat to job security for the US teams. Seen it at other companies happen right before big lay offs. Job growth is difficult now that the company has gotten bigger (ironically). A lot of people are in the same positions they were 5 years ago and deserve to be doing more and have higher opportunities. A lot more external hires brought in for positions which means a lot of the leadership staff don't have much knowledge on the device while internal candidates know a lot more about company policies but yet don't get the opportunity. A lot of the management starts with minimal background to cardiac devices as well. So it is a lot of hand holding with management when explaining problems and policy. They will give you extra work and tasks outside of your job scope and not pay you for them or offer title changes.

Pros

What has kept me engaged at iRhythm is the combination of a mission that matters and the people behind it. It's hard not to be motivated when you know the work ultimately helps patients receive timely cardiac care. I've had the opportunity to work with incredibly smart, dedicated colleagues across Commercial, Clinical, Product, Marketing, Operations, and beyond. There is a strong culture of collaboration, and people are generally willing to roll up their sleeves to solve problems together. From an Enablement perspective, there's also a real opportunity to influence the business. I've been trusted to lead large-scale initiatives, partner directly with senior leaders, and help shape how we train, develop, and support the field. If you're someone who enjoys building, improving processes, and driving change, there are plenty of opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Cons

Like many growing healthcare organizations, iRhythm is constantly evolving. Priorities can shift, teams are often balancing multiple important initiatives, and resources don't always scale as quickly as the work. The company is also navigating the realities of operating in a highly regulated environment, which is necessary and important, but can sometimes slow decision-making and create complexity when trying to move quickly. At times, there can be competing priorities across functions, making it challenging to align on what matters most. For people who thrive on structure and predictability, the pace of change may feel frustrating. For those who are comfortable with ambiguity and change, it's generally easier to navigate.

Pros

I’ve had a wonderful experience working at iRhythm so far. One of the standout aspects is the company’s genuine commitment to work-life balance. Leadership is respectful of personal boundaries and very mindful of a global workforce, which makes collaboration feel thoughtful rather than overwhelming. I especially love the practice of starting meetings five minutes after the hour. It may seem small, but it gives everyone a moment to reset and breathe, and it makes a big difference in the flow of the day! The benefits are also very competitive, with coverage starting on day one, which is a huge plus. I’ve also noticed there are more paid holidays than I’ve experienced elsewhere, which further reinforces the company’s people-first approach. The team culture is another highlight. Everyone I’ve worked with has been inclusive, supportive, and welcoming. It feels like a place where people truly want each other to succeed, and that positive energy shows up in day-to-day interactions. What makes the experience even more rewarding is the mission. iRhythm’s innovative cardiac monitoring solutions are making a real impact in people’s lives, helping detect and manage heart conditions more effectively. It’s inspiring to be part of a company where the work directly contributes to better health outcomes. With this being one of the company’s highest growth years yet, there’s a strong sense of momentum and excitement about the future. As a contract employee, I’ve felt fully included and valued, which speaks volumes about the culture. I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue here in a full-time capacity, as iRhythm has quickly become a place where I can see myself growing and contributing long term!
