Great product, iSpot owns the category. Talented backend team (engineering, product, data science, editorial). Amazing startup perks. Great people making the company work day to day. Dogs allowed in The office and a nice amount of space. Comfortable work environment.
Cons
Massive power distance between execs and other employees. A lot of favoritism, sexism and tech bro culture. Employees who are complain the loudest or stay in the CEOs ear have way too much power and get way too much credit and aren’t held accountable for their jobs. Male exec team definitely runs in their own circle and isn’t interested in new or outside involvement, even from new higher level female promotions or hires- the disinterest of the execs to include new people is felt across the company by us at lower levels. Don’t think we don’t notice.
