Pros

There are very few positives about iSpot, but the employees are good group of people and deserve better.

Cons

iSpot leadership consists of two men who are unwilling to accept any help or admit that their company is in a nose dive. New employees are recruited for their expertise and then relegated to roles beneath their experience level once they start working to improve the company. Tenured employees are put in charge of new initiatives & platforms they have no experience in, and are allowed to fail over and over while costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in subscription fees. Meanwhile, teams are forced to use substandard processes while better tools are languishing in purgatory, waiting for someone to figure out how to implement them. Tech teams are constantly being rushed from one new product to another, without ever fully completing the preceding rollout. Products are released half-baked with convoluted workarounds to achieve basic function. There's always a shiny new project to work on while ignoring critical tech debt. Sales and CS teams are always waiting for a new comp plan while constantly being re-orged into new teams. Commission payments are often late, incorrect, or both. The constant shuffling of teams and accounts prevents any meaningful progress with clients and causes further confusion with comp plans. Layoffs are frequent, and top sales performers are targeted to avoid paying out earned commissions. There is no DEI at iSpot, and one look at the C-Suite and Board will reinforce this. Reviewing their Linkedin posts, all of their leadership summits are primarily male and white. Overall, this is an extremely toxic environment to be in, and you will be swimming upstream from day one. Until there is massive changes made at the C-Level, do not expect this to improve.
