Pros
Many of the amazing people I've gotten to work with are still here, as the slow job market in tech has discouraged folks from leaving (attrition is ticking up and everyone is looking, however).
Cons
The C-suite has wasted the talents of all the smart folks they hired with years of incoherent and purely reactive strategy. There is a complete inability to commit to a roadmap for any meaningful period. The CEO trashes the engineering org for an inability to ship, yet ignores the complexities created by the mountain of tech debt accumulated over the last five years of constant demands to release features under ridiculously over-optimistic deadlines. The atmosphere is toxic and morale is at an all-time low. Absent a miracle, all the remaining talent will head for the exits en masse as soon as the job market thaws.
