Pros
• I get the opportunity to work with a wide variety of roles and business units, which really helps sharpen my recruiting skills. • Strong exposure to leadership and hiring managers; your input is often taken seriously as long as it is logical. • Fast-paced environment, & I am learning to juggle multiple priorities quickly.
Cons
• Workload can get overwhelming, especially during peak hiring cycles. • Processes are not always standardized, so we recruiters have to often figure things out on their own and program manage the entire recruitment cycle. • Limited resources at times, which means you need to be very self-sufficient. • Some misalignment between what leadership expects vs. what the market can realistically deliver. So, proactive communication is needed for someone to succeed here
