Pros

I got to work with some really smart people in a startup environment. We had a lot of autonomy to make decisions about our projects, which was great for learning and growth.

Cons

The sexist culture at mabl is shocking. I was constantly overlooked for promotions and important projects, despite having the same qualifications as my male colleagues. My ideas were often dismissed in meetings, only to be praised when suggested by a man. The leadership team is male, and they seem to ignore the issues. It feels like fighting an uphill battle, every day. I saw other women leave because they couldn't handle the environment anymore. The talk about diversity and inclusion was just talk. The culture is so toxic that it makes it hard to enjoy any of the interesting work or perks.

Pros

1) Great value proposition and huge TAM 2) Product is differentiated, very strong AI workflows, and customer ROI is absolutely top tier 3) Team (all functions) work well togther - we take training and building technical, domain, and product knowledge very seriously 4) Non-political and culture focused company. I think people genuinely like enjoy working with one another, and we know we succeed as a company, not at anyone else's expense.

Cons

1) Pace of learning and change can be pretty fast. Have to be ready to learn all of the time. Not news here, but technologoy innovation is the fastest it's been that I've seen. This is affecting just about all tech companies - we're likely more in tune with it and adjust continuously. 2) We don't have thousands of people, so people have to play a lot of roles. Fun and rewarding, but likely a different operating rhythm vs. being part of a thousand + person company.
